Welcome to the Crestmont Elementary Library Media Center!
Crestmont Library Mission Statement
The mission of the Crestmont Elementary School library, as a resource of service and learning, is to encourage and promote reading for pleasure and information, to support the goals of our patrons, to provide opportunities to learn about and use technology, and to promote an atmosphere that fosters leadership.
Meet Mrs. Greene
My name is Meredith Greene, and I am the library media specialist at Crestmont Elementary. This is my second year at Crestmont, and I look forward to an exciting year!
I graduated from The University of Alabama in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and received my master's degree in Library and Information Science in 2020 from the Capstone. I have taught third grade as well as fourth grade for five years at Flatwoods Elementary. In 2018, I married my husband, Ryan, who is a second grade teacher at Northport Elementary. I am active at my church, Chapel Hill Baptist Church, where I serve in the preteen ministry. In the summer, I am also a director at the day camp at Chapel Hill. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, kayaking, cooking, and spending time with my friends and family.
I am thankful to be at such an amazing school!
