Message for Crestmont, CRIS, Echols, and TCHS Families

Families of Crestmont, Collins-Riverside, Echols, and Tuscaloosa County High Students, 

You may have seen news reports about a shooting that happened early this morning in the Knoll Circle neighborhood. We understand that a suspect is in custody, but investigators were still working the crime scene when our students from Knoll Circle were coming to school this morning. Obviously, this was an upsetting thing for our students to see.   

Please know that our counselors and social workers are here to support students who may have seen or heard about this situation. Please reach out to your school administrator if you have concerns about your student, and encourage them to talk to their school counselor whenever they are in need of support.
